Are you sure that 10400 comes with a stock cooler? Intel doesn't usually include one with CPU's in that price class, as far as I know.I don't think you should worry too much with those components. You have a non-K CPU that you won't use to overclock and your power consumption with those specs will be pretty low, so I doubt that temps or airflow are going to be a huge issue (especially given that you're going with liquid cooling). Mounting the radiator front / top each has its own benefits. People say that front makes for a (slightly) cooler CPU and (slightly) hotter GPU, and that top does the opposite, but it really just depends on your specific case / cable management / components and hardly matters.I'd definitely advise against exhausting through the front though. That's a pretty unusual setup that doesn't really offer any benefits and often isn't even really intended by case manufacturers. I would just go with front intake, rear exhaust, mount radiator at the top and then see which direction you prefer there. You can either have the radiator exhaust through the top or pull air in from the top. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjYli6itP38
It's good to know that there really is no magic solution to make sure everything is getting cool air though, I guess I'll just have to decide where I want the heat.

I already mentioned it in my thread about microphones (advice still welcome, if you have any). I founded a Ltd. company last year for my esports / streaming work. Got a good amount of revenue but hardly any costs in 2020. Incurring some expenses now and writing them off would be good for taxes. The main problem is that so much is out of stock. I was looking at an 5900x, RTX 3080, PS5 and so on, but they're pretty much impossible to get these days.
buying hot things on the internet is not for humans; stick to in store purchasing if you can
UPS is fucking around with my ram and psu.they're saying Newegg didn't put down my unit number and asking me to update the address, and also telling me I'm not allowed to update the address or pick the package up at a UPS storeat the same time, they're telling me that they already updated the address and yesterday said it would be delivered by the end of the day, and online it still says I simultaneously need to/cannot update the address, and it wasn't deliveredThanks internet
I've got everything but a 3060Ti or 3070both are in my price range and I'd be happy with either, but I've got my fingers crossed that the 3070 comes available firstSpoilerThe aio went on sale for $64 and I bought it, since a decent air cooler isn't much cheaper. If it does become more expensive by the time I get around to upgrading the processor, probably next summer, I'll feel vindicated.
Build your PCsMy friend bought a $2000 PC pre built and it only lasted 2 weeks before the GPU went out

Glad I built mine when I did. Literally a month later, it was scalp-central everywhere and its only getting worse now. What I don't understand is the demand for next-gen consoles. There's like a whole two games for them at this time. Why not wait for another six months? Ebay is full of listings going three or four times the MSRP - which means that someone is willing to pay that much to play spiderman?
