The guy has three movies about him and at the end of the third movie he is still the same person as he was in the first. There's nothing new about him that got developed into his shallow puddle of a character. In the second movie he lost dialog time and in the third he just screamed and grunted. Just like you I don't get why there are fanboys for this guy. He has nothing at all going for him to make him likable. You can replace him with a brick wall and nothing about his movies would change story wise. He might as well be one due to how depth-less he is and how piss poor his motive for wanting to kill Goku is.
