Meh I don't care much about hype for any game, but I agree the framerate issues are annoying even though I barely ever came across them in DS 1. As for the controls are you talking about dark souls 1 or 2 or both?

From what I've heard it isn't as good as DS 1 but I'm not expecting it be anyway. I just everything about Dark souls, the mysterious nature of it's story and lore, the combat, art style.

Yeah, I haven't even played it but I know a professor who gives lectures on a Video Game Design course or whatever it's called, he reckons Dark Souls 2 is the best game ever created. From a developer's standpoint.
