Meanwhile, you've got literally the same scenario, except the cop killed the guy and is getting shit on left and right.#Invalid YouTube Link#The guy in the OP was the son of a family friend. It hit the family very hard.
I can attest to the horrors that a cop deals with, my friend's father used to be a cop, and he got called to a job where he had to go break up a drug party, and when he was walking through, he noticed a child on the ground, silent. he picked up the baby and it's skull caved in his hands, the kid was dead, and the drunk fools had apparently been throwing the baby against the wall because it wouldn't stop crying. nothing can prepare you for that shit man, and it changes you. his dad was completely silent for the next month, and only told his family when my friend was moved out and they were discussing his job

I'd say it's become a bit of an epidemic, in the US at least. It's always been bad. It just gets more coverage now.

The thing is, they should have known what they were getting in.

Problem is it's more than a few bad eggs in the police force. But still, it's practically a thankless job with shitty pay and high amounts of danger. It's like no matter what you choose to do you're fucked from birth.lolHa, cops make way too much, well not all of them, but a lot of them. Not to mention the benefits are absolutely insane. It's a public SERVICE, you're not supposed to make a lot.

I can deal with pathetic people, I can even deal with having to take on multiple drunks, but I could never sacrifice my principle and infringe upon people like cops do. You spend your day robbing from mostly productive people.
I can't imagine the stress of actually being a cop.

I request you do an experiment where you purchase some heroin and go around using it near police. See how many ignore you before one finally arrests you and we'll have a solid test.
