your narrow definition of "fair fight" unnecessarily excludes a lot of otherwise thematically sound plans that various batmen have developed to deal with superman. also, just one example, he defeats superman in the dark knight returns, and makes it very clear that he actively chose to spare superman's life.
he's not unbeatable, wtf? in this particular movie maybe that argument has some merit but there are tons of examples throughout history of batman's vulnerability.
