Of course not. I use them because life would be unbearable otherwise. I don't know what everyone else is doing that I'm missing, but everything is just so much work. It's just going through the motions, a greyscale slog of things I'm obligated to do on a daily basis. that's just an expression, it just means doing something so intoxicating to your personality it's a "high". But that's not something I can achieve. I might go out with friends, play some video games, go on a hike, etc. But that's just leisure. It's not a literal escape, you don't forget anything.
