Heavy reference. I switched from Paint.net to Krita because it supports stylus pressure variation, which allows me to get away with those cool web effects. It however is still foreign to me hence the sloppy inking.

Spider-man has gotta be one of the best superheroes to study... his poses are always so dynamic no matter who's drawing. That also means it's more obvious when an artist doesn't have a full grasp on human anatomy, but I'd rather them take risks than stick to the Jim Lee school of basic ass poses.

Pyramid Head, the most terrifying damm monster of all time, in my opinion. A lurching, metallic, fleshy mass of rust and muscle that stalks James throughout the town of Silent Hill as a constant grim reminder of his own guilt, a projected desire for punishment.

And he's a rapist, which apparently my young mind blocked out cause I don't remember that scene at all.

Haven't bothered with scanning/digital art recently. 100% agree with Eli on Spider-Man.
