Any plans for the Summer?

I plan on doing some house renovations, redoing the basement floor, redoing the floor on the main level (wood is better than decades' old carpet for all of our allergies), repainting, and replacing/repairing some doors and door frames that were not properly installed.

I'm very excited as our house was previously owned by a "house flipper" who did a very poor job and we could only afford to fix the non-cosmetic things before now. Hopefully, this will make this house feel like our home instead of the previous owner's.

I want to pick up drums again, I ditched it for guitar but there isn't any reason I can't do both. That and sort my life out in general, start getting out more again and stop wallowing over failed past relationships. Maybe I'll even do something with the hard drive full of depressing poetry I've written.

Not exactly summer specific but it seems as good a time as any.

im not sure. my friends brought up the fact that their warehouse is hiring part time, and it's got me thinking

ive been wanting to work for the longest but if i dont go thru with that, i guess ima just bum it until school starts again in mid september

Nothing wrong with drawing from your own experiences, only problem with it is that it can result in a rather limited scope in later works, but that's a problem for down the line. My only suggestion is don't use the word introvert, everyone thinks they're one nowadays, regardless of whether or not they are one.

I'm down south so going into winter down here.

I just got laid off my job so I'm going to have to put my plans to update my Car's body kit on hold until I have an income again, though it is tempting to dig into my tax return to get it all done.

I have 12 days left until my license category updates and I can drive the thing, but I should be able to keep up with repayments until I get an income again, even if it is just government benefits.

My foreseeable future is basically cleaning the house, maybe do a bit more exercise in my free time, and, of course, job hunting. I still have a volunteer gig once a week but I need $ so I may end up leaving it if I can no longer afford the transport fees as it's about a 1 and a half hour drive to get there.
