If I'm not here, I'm doing photography. Or I'm asleep. Or in lockdown. One of those three, anyway.

The current titlebar/avatar setup is just normal.
On campus accommodation in Cardiff varies, but as a first year you're guaranteed a spot.

The better the flat, the higher the cost. Maintenance and utility bills are free regardless.

Off-campus, rent can be cheaper, but the houses are proportionally worse for what your paying compared to uni accommodation. E.g. Cheapest uni rooms - £3300 over 9 months, inc. bills and repairs. Cheapest rent - £2500, bills not inc., minor repairs are your problem, and other problems with the house will arise (mould, mice, cold, jammy doors, broken furniture, etc)

Depends on the cost. Here in Ireland the off-campus accom was almost always cheaper than the rooms the college provided. For convenience though, I strongly suggest you live a walking distance away from campus - that's all that matters. College may also have some strict backwards rules on what you can do in your room - off campus is less strict unless its an owner occupied house.
Living in close proximity from college makes it easier to get up in the morning and also you can take part in the activities after lectures, which you cant really do if you are tied to some bus.
