I'm trying to get into game design

I took like 3 classes, the only 3 classes my community college offered that even came close to game deisgn, and that's not helping me get jobs in the industry

I'd go to full sail but that's too far away so anyone got any advice

If I'm not here, I'm doing photography. Or I'm asleep. Or in lockdown. One of those three, anyway.

The current titlebar/avatar setup is just normal.
Internships and networking. Do a hobby project like an app, coding stuffs or graphical concept designs or something.

What exactly do you want to do in game design? It's an umbrella term that encompasses a lot of different fields. You can be part of the team that makes the art, or the team that works on the engine, etc. Look at the different fields and see which one suits you the most and then work towards a degree that's a part of that field.

Keep in mind, anything that's not about art will have two cubic fuck-tons of math so if you don't like math be warned.

-Know that game design has nothing to do with being an "idea guy".  Too many people think that and undermine what makes a good game designer.

-Teach yourself basic programming and work in engines like Unity & Unreal: they're really good engines for delivering quick prototypes.  They have good documentation on their sites and tutorials on YouTube.

-Look up Game Jams in your area, if you have any: they're where a bunch of people get together and try to create a game in the span of a weekend.

-Make a ton of games.  Get in the habit of coming up with random ideas and trying to build off them in short sprints.

-Getting a job in that kind of industry has less to do with the classes you took and more with what work you have to show off.  Make a website to be your portfolio and have a bunch of professional blog posts covering the work you've done, what you've learned, and why it's significant.

His eyebrows sparkling, his white beard hangs down to his chest. The thatched mats, spread outside his chise, spread softly, his splendid attos. He polishes, cross-legged, his makiri, with his eyes completely absorbed.

He is Ainu.

The god of Ainu Mosir, Ae-Oine Kamuy, descendant of Okiku-Rumi, He perishes, a living corpse. The summers day, the white sunlight, unabrushed, ends simply through his breath alone.
Here's a general rule: if the university advertises on tv, it's a scam. Get started on an art or compsci career path.
