It's all based on chance really. There is a chance that each side will show up once or twice or only half shows up twice and the other half doesn't within each roll. And if it is rolled infinite times, each side will eventually show up, possibly more than once depending on the outcome.

Some sides may come up a few more times before all are shown once, however.

No you couldn't, the odds of you rolling 1 decreases each time - the odds are literally approaching 0, which means after infinity rolls there's 0% chance you roll another consecutive 1.

Geometrically, each time you add a side to a 3D object, it becomes more like a sphere. So a die with infinite sides is going to approach a ball shape, and you can't really "roll" a ball and expect a definite number to show up, much less do it infinite times.

You have the same probability of rolling any of the numbers every roll, so you have the same probability of rolling any sequence of numbers.

Approaching 0 =/= 0.

No. For example, the odds of rolling a standard die and landing on any number is 1. The odds of landing on a 1 SPECIFICALLY is 1/6. You're comparing landing on any number with landing on a specific one x amount of times.

No matter how I look at it, it seems impossible. If you look at it from the point of view that it's a realistic shape, said Die would be a Perfect sphere, with each side having a surface area of Zero. This makes it impossible to have any of the "Faces" to land upwards, because they don't have a surface area, and thus don't exist. If you drew a grid on said sphere, with each square representing a face, then it would have a finite amount of faces, making it ineligible for the "experiment."

A die with infinite faces, each with a quantifiable surface area, whilst being an impossible shape, would run into the problem of there always being more faces than the number of rolls that have occurred, ad infinitium. The two can't really cancel each other out, unless the die rolls can somehow happen in a finite amount of time.

This makes my head hurt.

This is obviously a hypothetical. "Die" could be substituted for an RNG.

People who are getting hung up on the physical shape of the die are missing the point. The rolling of the "die" isn't really what matters, it's the fact that you're doing it infinite times, and the possible results are infinite.
