I'll start.

Come in late to class, teacher asks "have you done the homework, and are ready to present?"
"Well, I've picked the topic"
"Are you ready to present?"
"No, not this lesson" says my partner.
"How long time do we get to work on it?"
No answer from anyone, and both ignore me, and we all go to our seats.

I later on write a script for my partner and improvise a lot in about 10 min, and then at the end when I return (close to teacher), the teacher says my name and then laughs impressed.

I glance over a classmate's analysis of our presentation, and it says that I was gr8.

It wasn't at this time that I realised that I had a gift with these things though. I've been able to do these kinds of things since long before, but with a small success rate.

Edit: Luckily it was an easy task that relied solely on your reasoning skills, and observational skills, as well as your speaking skills (presentation).
