Everyone in their right mind knows that the flu vaccine is a waste of time and money. It's unneccesary and risky, but people insist on getting drugged up for a naturally occurring sickness. Why is this?

How fun is being sick? Do you really have a party when you're sitting over a toilet horking your guts out? When you're burning up and you open up a fucking window and it doesn't help even if it's cold as shit outside?

Folks these days are too keen on accepting bullshit. Colds are part of that. It's fucking shitty to be sick.

So, you do what you can. You try to avoid being sick. Whether it be through vaccine or taking a lot of care.

So I can go to work and earn my paycheck, while also not spreading around illnesses to other people?

EDIT:  Just saw thread title was talking about children.  Point still stands, why spread the flu around and get people sick?  We're not completely immune to it and it's a very shitty time when you get sick.  It's just a simple needle shot and you're done.  That's all you have to worry about.
