Doping has been known to be a create asset in war, from the Hassasins to modern era military. If i am right some armies including the US use drugs. If i remember correct one of the best robberies in NA was done by a man and a couple kids high on  weed. It has an effect that allows people to do what they would not do sober.

Actually it does, because of a couple reasons, mainly that at a certain dosage you are more calm during the instance. Hashish was used quite heavily by the Shia Muslim sect called the Hassassins when they went on their assassination projects.

Funny thing is that the middle east is where most of these drugs propagated and became popular during the golden age of Islam. From Marijuana to Coffee etc. And now it is banned there. Marijuana if i am right was used heavily by scholars during the earlier days. Actually i think a better discussion would be the history of mind altering drugs and where they originated and gain popularity.
