What to expect during your freshmen year in college?

Im done working 5/7 days for 8 hours making shit money and being miserable. And i've realized these odd jobs locally are shit too. I think community college would be in my best interest. Haven't done homework or studied for a test in 2 years.. so what should I expect my freshmen year? General tips are appreciated.

Basic classes covering general topics, lots of tedious but relatively mundane homework, expensive textbooks, and professors that don't care.

Use ratemyprofessors.com as it literally can help you choose how much you'll enjoy your classes. Also, you can basically do more and have less restrictions.
