We always say to fight fire, you must use fire. This is wrong. Fighting fire with fire will leave scars and a new flame will rise. We must instead use water. It is the opposite of fire, it extinguishes the fire, it cools, it refreshes, it heals. We are made up of 70% water, we are not made up of 70% fire. Please practice what we truly are

Sad when great men like Gary Johnson never get the attention they deserve. I for one do NOT approve of the law.

Are we posting non-sequiturs in this thread?

Oh, don't pretend like it's not a valid statement.

I'm at the point where I don't feel like I can reasonably identify with any particular party. They're all so quick to abandon principle for their own political or personal gain and pretend there's no hypocrisy in doing so. I have my leanings but partying up just feels counter-productive.

It's not, especially in this thread. That sentiment is thrown around any time Republicans try to pass any bill. In this case, it's a former politician recommending a standing governor adopt legislation to reduce government seizure of citizens' assets. It's literally the opposite of overreach.

Uh, I'm agreeing with Gary Johnson here. It's stuff like this that made him leave the Republicans.

I'm very confused here. What does this have to do with Republicans at all?

Well.. does go to show you that Republicans and Democrats are both part of the problem and we need something more in the middle..

I thought someone by now would be cruelly in support of such a evil law and call me out on it?
