Can we say that it was a tragedy, with both many people and no people at fault?

It's really easy for keyboard warriors to tell us all about how they've never let their children out of their sight, and how they would have done everything perfectly. I think anyone with half a brain can see through their bullshit, though.

Saying that the mom is "negligent" or that she should be charged with a crime for this is just idiotic. If you have kids, they will, at some point, get away from you. It might be for a minute, it might be for longer, but it will happen. Most of the time, there's a second of panic and then everything's all right.

Tragedy happens, people. Sometimes it's best to understand that and move on.

Personally, I hate all primates other than humans. They disturb me. So I don't really care if a gorilla had to die, although I do think the parents involved were rather irresponsible.

Even then, it's not really excusable if the slip-up almost resulted in a child's death. I understand that things like this happen, but someone must be at fault.
