My parents believe it was an inside job, but I've never looked too deeply into the subject myself. I don't know or care.

That's all that they are really at the end of the day, but I prefer to keep an open mind. I'd like to think that its at least a possibility because there isn't enough evidence to really prove or disprove one or the other.

But as I said in the OP, what I believe doesn't matter, but it is what I will believe until I am undeniably proven wrong otherwise with concrete evidence supporting the ladder, which may or may never happen. So, I'm likely going to believe it until the day I die.

I might be an idiot for it, but I know I'm not completely stupid.

Anyway, regardless of what's what, this still doesn't change the fact that a lot of innocent lives were lost in this catastrophe.

I was 9 when all that shit happened, saw it live on TV too, and even me being 9 years old, nothing but a dumb boy mostly still learning, I knew something was just wrong when the towers just fell like that, and I couldn't explain or figure out why, but I just knew it shouldn't have fallen that fast, like in 10 seconds, but I kept it to myself because I didn't want to really get any adult upset with this shit.

Holy shit. I didn't know that WTC was actually attacked in 1993 with a real bomb planted killing 6 people, prior to the events of 9/11. I couldn't have known, I was only a year old.

Well so far I really am the ONLY person on this entire website that believes 9/11 was an inside job by the US government, and I will continue to believe that unless some new evidence pops up that can dismiss the conspiracy, and seeing how unlikely that's going to be, I'll believe that until the day I die.

At least I know I'm not the only person on the internet, let alone the world that believes it was an inside job as well.

No, because that paired with countless terrorist attacks by radical Muslims afterwards leaves a negative stigma. It's the exact same way the Japanese in America were viewed suspiciously and unfavorably after Pearl Harbor.

It's sad, but it's human nature to just lump people together and blame it on them, rather than realize it's far more complicated than what the face of it seems.

I don't think Luci is really calling those people who thought it was fishy at the start idiots, just those who ignore the mountains of evidence to the contrary years after it happened.

I was kinda just being silly in general, but yeah. Conspiracy theorists seem to think something happened, even when there is more evidence stacked on the actual story, and not the conspiracy.

Which is why I cast it in the same light as the Pearl Harbor and Moon Landing ones. It's just so silly and untrue.

US government didn't do Pearl Harbor. They knew it was going to happen hours prior and didn't intervene, so they could have a reason to break the non-interventionalist policy and go to war.

You say this like it's fact; there's not much evidence besides some old guys' theories. They definitely knew the Japanese were planning some sort of attack in the Pacific, hence why the carriers were out delivering aircraft to Pacific islands, but they wouldn't risk losing so many important ships, crippling the war effort from the start.

OT: it obviously wasn't an inside job. Jet fuel absolutely does burn hot enough to cause stress failures in steel, resulting in a collapse. They didn't collapse into their footprint, and demolition would've been insanely difficult, especially considering it had never been done on buildings so tall. If you believe the story that America supported the Mujahideen, the theory is even less compelling; it becomes a direct example of puppet factions going awry.

If you honestly believe that the government had any role in executing the attacks of 9/11, then there's no evidence that will convince you otherwise. Not "new" evidence, not any of the extremely clear old evidence. You can (and in this case, do) have all the evidence in the world painting a clear picture (in this case, that Islamic extremists hijacked and crashed the planes), but all the evidence in the world can't overcome the mixture of stubbornness and stupidity that fuels conspiracy theories.
