Gender is highly correlated to sex; to say they aren't unrelated is folly.

The gender isn't similar to the concept of the soul, distinct from the brain in some way, and any divergence of gender from sex will be attributable to some sort of physical "malfunction" wherein the gender is divorced from the explicit sex of the individual.

Of course they're related. They aren't commensurate, but they're related.

Masculinity is based off the biological traits of males and femininity is based off the biological traits of females. So yes gender is related to sex.

It's really not that simple. Asserting so makes you look pretty ignorant of the subject.

I don't have beef with transgender people, at least for their gender. (Assholes can still be assholes, regardless of age, race, faith, gender or disability)

I default apply everyone here as a "he" unless they either say they are a girl or want to be addressed as one.

But it would be nice if I was allowed to ask how a trans person would like to be addressed, rather than say gender-neutral word ("they" instead of "he"/"she"), and bypass offending them.

I don't think establishments should be sued because they still don't have neutral or transgender bathrooms. I don't mind calling someone by a different pronoun, but they should expect it to take getting used to, and not be a pretentious cunt about every time someone screws it up.
