Basically the mother was forced to hold her child for three hours due to him being forced out of his seat, which by the way the seat was almost $1k. What's even better is that the child is to large for the mother to safely hold him on her lap. A child under two can be held, but this one was over the age. The reason for the child getting booted out was due to a standby passenger.

Seems like it's entirely the fault of the flight attendant that shrugged it off instead of going back to the ticket counter and confirming. You'd think they'd all be focused on preventing these issues given the negative PR lately.
