I think camp would be a better word to use instead of gay. Doesn't gay refer to someone being attracted to a person of the same sex? Camp better defines those flamboyant gay men and can be listed as a lifestyle choice.

Incorrect. Homosexuality has always been this common - but it has been heavily frowned upon by most societies and religions throughout history. It just seems to be more prevalent merely due to the fact that it has become more accepted in the western world.

Saying what is off the top of my head, it's not a choice whether people have same-sex attraction or not, but it is their choice of being open about it and being identified as "Gay"

There are many people who are Gay and never reveal those feelings. They keep them locked away forever.
