Genuine human decency, I find, is so few and far between today that it moves me to tears.
Even the smallest gesture, bread for a beggar, and up to, but not especially the ultimate sacrifice.
And not especially such a selfless gesture, because even such perfectly average decency is so rare, and I, too, am a member of this age of aloofness; I have only so many tears to shed.
