Heart disease is the number one cause of death in America.
http://www.cdc.gov/heartdisease/statistics.htm
My dad had open heart surgery, all my uncles have as well. I will probably die of "the Big One". People get heart disease from shitty food and a shitty lifestyle. In light of this, should the gov be restricting what we eat? Wouldn't it be better if mandatory exercise were enforced? Thoughts please. I am sure you know where I am going with this...

They already do control what we eat.
But still, we are dying like flies. Obviously mandatory food control is imperative. ;)

Heart Disease in the United States

About 610,000 people die of heart disease in the United States every year–that’s 1 in every 4 deaths.
Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women. More than half of the deaths due to heart disease in 2009 were in men.1

Not to mention fatties and their health issues are driving up insurance rates. This could discourage bad health habits and save people bank.

win/win imo

I don't like forcing people to do shit.

I prefer giving them options. Get in shape or pay up, sucka.

it's actually the moderately healthy people who life until they're 80-90 that drain the healthcare systems more than fat diabetics who die in their 50's or 60's.
