Not really. I mean he's better than a lot of them, but that's not saying much. He's still been a massive derp on the news too many times for me to be comfortable with him having any real power. He's currently making a fool of himself on the Cuba issue.

I'm still putting some hope in Rand Paul going down the moderate-sane path in 2016, but even then he still won't be as good as Obama was/is on a number of issues ranging from global warming to cispa.

I actually suspect Boehner, or however you spell it, isn't that bad as he's tried multiple times to compromise, and avoid shutting down congress. He just lacks control of the tea party nuts.

Saying you're the best republican isn't really a badge of honor though. They have another decade or so before the party can be taken seriously again.

He represents a very conservative cuban district of florida. He has a hardline position on Cuba. Basically still looks at it from a cold war perspective. Which is helping no one.

Any arguments to be ridiculously hard on Cuba because of Communism are insane when we work with China and Saudi Arabia the way we do. He's one of the few still holding this view. Though admittedly if he changed it the Floridan Cubans would vote him out.

Rubio's pretty great, but he'd be going up against some heavy-hitters in the primary, and I'm not sure he can contend. I think he'd do better starting off as a VP candidate.

I would prefer Chris Christie but thats a pipe dream. Hes the president we NEED. Someone that takes absolutely NO shit.

But Rubio is a close 2nd and hes the more realistic candidate. I would 100% vote for him if hes on the ballot.
