Sure, this is a shameful day for America. But the fact is we had Obama for two terms. I have yet to see that happen in Europe or the UK. I have yet to see the rags to riches stories you see in America in other countries.

America is the greatest nation on earth, and trump can't change that.

Plenty of Americans leave for work or relationships or whatever. Clearly? I left because it made the most sense for me to move to Belgium. He was completely willing to make that move to America. However, my degree was transferable, whereas his was not. The decision to leave was based on careful consideration of our finances and our future aspirations. As we could more easily and with less financial strain achieve all the things we wanted in Belgium than in the US, I left. My personal feelings about my country had nothing to do with it.

Leaving the US and living in another country for a job is not a really important reason. Do you have no respect for those people as well? What about the American citizens that run US embassies all over the world? I mean, what is "really important" is so subjective.

Why do people call Trump a fascists after what our last few presidents have done? I don't think we should build a wall. But we do need to solve that Mexican border problem. Something the other presidents don't seem to recognize. Donald Trump actually called out big pharma. Let's see if he does something about that. At least he acknowledged it. Unlike the others. He wants to be friendly with Russia? Works for me. Putting our country first also sounds cool. I had to shake my head when Obama said in his farewell address that it will continue to be important for America to bring democracy to parts of the world. No. Fuck that. Don't worry about other countries. Stay to yourself. Bringing jobs back sounds cool. I don't agree with some stuff he says. But the fact is he is offering things pieces of shit like Hilary never would. Let's see what happens. Let's see if he continues to do bullshit like the NDAA for example.
