High-level advisers close to then-presidential nominee Donald Trump were in constant communication during the campaign with Russians known to US intelligence, multiple current and former intelligence, law enforcement and administration officials tell CNN.

President-elect Trump and then-President Barack Obama were both briefed on details of the extensive communications between suspected Russian operatives and people associated with the Trump campaign and the Trump business, according to US officials familiar with the matter.

GASP! to the surprise of no one. I don't know what to really add to this, considering we've all said what we've had to for over half a year now with this. It's like the NSA in that we all knew it was happening. It's just that the people under scrutiny were denying it.

All jokes aside - between Manafort resigning out of thin air after details of his ties to Ukraine & Russia, and Flynn resigning this past week because of his talks to the Foreign Minister, a thorough investigation into these accusations is much needed.

Too bad all desire for Congress to conduct oversight has been tossed into the ocean with an anchor tied to it's leg.
