Okay, now, I'm pulling this out of my ass with a little bit of basis in my own experience. Maybe a third of a randomly selected of women could be competent in combat. What did we really draft for? Grunts. Good ol' eleven bang bangs who died by the dozen and were replaced in seconds by some poor guys who got voluntold by Uncle Sam. I don't know about you, but forcefully putting Ms. Homecoming Queen in a combat situation sounds like a fucking recipe for disaster.

Besides, their period blood will attract bears.

Nope. I've no doubt they exist but we're talking ratios here. How many random men could kill you vs how many random women.

You really think an army of random civilian women is going to be effective vs something that killed all your professional soldiers?

Yeah, because I'm going to trust a rifle made by some old guy who can't see past the barrel of a gun, or made by modern day whiny teenagers.

I'd rather my guns be made by a woman, and no I don't mean that in a bad way, I mean that they should be the ones building our weapons and running the stores back home, than the teenagers and old people. 

How catastrophic to a family would it be for both parents to be killed and all that's left is the children who can't fend for themselves? You'll probably say "well send them to their uncle's place!" Well guess what? they're still out there fighting while their kids are also stuck on their own waiting for him to come home.

If there's a draft, sex/gender and the rest shouldn't be discriminated against. If someone is physically able, they should be eligible for a drafting. I'm not saying I do or don't support a draft, but that's my stance on this particular issue.
