Well the Constitutional law makes sense. D.C is a federal enclave, not a state. The Constitution specifies that States have the power to elect officials, nothing actually about the people. It was created because the Founding Fathers didn't want one state to be favored out of all or for the state where the federal government was at to put in favor the policies of that state instead of being fair and pursuing the policies of all states as a collective group

But stupid laws exist for stupid reasons. It's not a rocket science answer

Nope. The Constitution doesn't say everybody can elect people to Congress, only people living in states can vote people to Congress. It's not a state, nor will it ever be. You can't ask a question, somebody give an answer, and say "well fuck the voters!" because if that was your premeditated answer, what was the point in asking a question?
