It's quite interesting, because this theory was kicking around a few years ago. From what I vaguely remember scientists couldn't quite figure out the presence/absence of a haplogroup in Africans and Europeans. Loosely along the lines of it wouldn't be possible for europeans to have evolved from Africa because there were certain genetic markers that were absent.I wish I'd bookmarked the study now, but someone on here (Trojanlord maybe) linked it like 2 years ago.

Been saying for years that the migration of homo erectus out of africa doesn't account at all for the existence of neanderthal or denisova DNA strings and thus a few dofferent hominids had to have been originating in different areas of the world and not just Africa and people have been saying I'm irelevent and crazy.Still crazy, but at least now I'm more correct than they.
