Most of Carters problems economic problems were inherited from the Ford administration and his big foreign policy deal was sabotaged by Reagan who supplied our enemies with weapons and kept American citizens held hostage so he could run on Carter not being able to get them back during the campaign.

I'm amazed Republicans fumble so hard with the latino demographic. Latinos, in my experience, are a fairly socially conservative, hard-work-and-family-values group of people. The republicans could have them in the fucking bag if they weren't quietly trying to cater to the "muh shrinking white population" crowd, and in doing so hand over a massive chunk of the vote to their opposition.

You're honestly right. Marco Rubio is their only hope in that regard, but Jeb is also the only hope at modernizing the party I think. But he won't be going anywhere cuz he's too boring. Rubio will probably be the nominee.
