Get of my lawn
I forgot who said it, but in a true capitalist society every cubic foot of air should be owned and everyone would have to either charge or pay for everything. It's a stupid idea. So is this regulation. I don't care if my information is "anonymized" or not. It's my information. This bill is dangerous. The CIA just had one of the biggest leaks in history. That shows that no one's data is safe. They aren't run like a business. The companies that would house my information are. That means maximizing revenue and minimizing cost. Minimizing costs. I.e. The infrastructure that houses the data.

Also, how am I as a consumer going to make any decisions, informed or otherwise, when ISP's are regional? At best anyone would only have 3-4 choices. At best. Even then several of the companies involved could share assets or utilities.

I hope the idiots who voted in this whole administration are happy. This is a potential bees hive of problems.
