Yeah, this is because that number is a lie. You can't have a true opinion poll without 100% freedom of press. Much less so if someone from the gubbermint comes up to your door and asks "Do you think Putin is doing a good job?"

Prostitution, in and of itself, isn't a bad thing. I don't know much about Russia's prostitution system, but to call out the industry itself as immoral is ridiculous. Would you like to provide a rebuttal for the most important part of my post? Where prostitution is a real factor in driving down property and business value in a neighborhood and affects the country and a whole as that means more crime and more welfare in that neighborhood?

And children thinking selling their body is ok seems like a good idea to you? Teaching them dignity and honor is irrelevant, that valuing yourself and having self esteem is worthless?

If prostitution is legalized in a gradual, safe, and smart way, none of those problems are even relevant. Except for that last one, but I seriously doubt any kid is going to idolize hookers and make it their dream to become one. If that was a real threat, we'd outlaw being homeless, too.

Would you like to provide a rebuttal for the most important part of my post? Where prostitution is a real factor in driving down property and business value in a neighborhood and affects the country and a whole as that means more crime and more welfare in that neighborhood?

And children thinking selling their body is ok seems like a good idea to you? Teaching them dignity and honor is irrelevant, that valuing yourself and having self esteem is worthless?

I'm not finding the motivation to even continue this conversation, considering how pointless it is. You and I obviously just have vastly different views on morality. When you're born, the one, the only thing that you doubtlessly own is yourself. And you can do anything you want to yourself. Call me whatever you want, but that's a fucking human right in my eyes. When you use your possession to infringe on others, that's where the line of morality even begins. But no one - not an individual, not an authority, and not a morality system - can ethically dictate what someone can do to their own body. That effort is what's immoral in all of this.

You can be a prostitute all you like.

It's just not going to be legal and normalized and socially accepted. We need to move away from that and improve humanity. Girls that are prostitutes could be doctors.
Yeah, it is going to be legal. Did you just skim my post? It's immoral for the government to illegalize anything that you're just doing to yourself.

And yeah, girls that are prostitutes could be doctors - but they fucking chose not to be. That's what so important in all of this. That's what we need to be protecting. If you force girls to be "dignified" and pressure them into pursuing fields they might not even want to go into, you're the one who's degrading them. And don't act like you just need to protect these hypothetical innocent, fragile girls who get wrongly snared up in this equally hypothetical vicious sex industry. I'm talking about legalization of it, which would eliminate any trace of abuse or coercion in the industry, since it will be brought out into the light and regulated.

But none of that matters. The only thing that matters is what I've been saying this whole time. We can do whatever we want to ourselves. If I wanted to go out and mix up bleach and heroin and snort it, I should be legally able to do so. Because that's the only thing that we own, without a doubt. TVs can be stolen or sold. You will always own your body, and you have a human right to do whatever you want to it.
