I never understood why Russell gets taken seriously by your news media? I've seen him debate your politicians a couple times. He can be entertaining, but his views are whack. Definitely not a high caliber debater.

he should stick with comedy. i empathize with some of his views but he makes it really hard for anyone to agree with him. maybe its part of a persona or something?
