I just think that politically charged questions like these ruins any credibility this test has at gauging political alignment with impartiality for me.

The point is that they're poor questions in the determination of somebody's politics.

I agree with both statements narrowly, but the implications of my response to those statements are different to the implications imposed by the creators of the test. I think branded water is a poor reflection of society because it highlights people's stupidity, not because there is necessarily a problem with our means of production to the extent that it influences my political opinions.

As for the second one. Well, yeah. But so what? That broadly comes under fraud, and that's already illegal so I have no idea why my dislike for illegal financial practices to push me leftward. Obviously the creators had something in mind other than simple fraud, at which point I have to think they mean institutions which turn illiquid assets into liquid assets and financial products like collateralisation, securitisation, OTC derivatives etc. But I disagree that these "contribute nothing to society".

I got a couple pages in before I realized that I was technically backed into a corner with my answers as there was only yes or no options when for over half of the questions I realized that I didn't give a shit either way.

It sure is sad that water is clean and filtered and sold at an extremely low price resulting in an industry and a shit ton of jobs.

It's really one of the worst things in the universe.

It'd be important to note that water wouldn't have to be cleaned or filtered if we didn't pollute it in the first place.

And, they're not selling you the water, actually. You're paying for the materials to house it.

Hmm, well, guess I'm speaking for myself then. I know the history of my province pretty well. All the rivers out here used to be clean. Clear water and drinkable from any one. Now they're all shit brown and loaded up with crap and pesticides.

But it's like that most everywhere else too. Most of our clean water sources have been polluted.
