Easy counter argument.

People need to stop being fucking lazy and do shit. Occupy one's time with work of some kind and the problem resolves itself.

And not only that, but transhumanism is a form of forwards progressive evolution. In an altered, arguably higher state of inteligence than we are now, the hedonic treadmill argument could be thrown out the window because we've moved past baser instincts and old habits.

It does and it doesn't, it's most likely a combination of recessive genes and exposure to incorrect hormones during pregnancy. (Talking about homosexuality) there have been various studies looking at the prevalence in certain groups and I'm sure there is an MZDZ study on it somewhere but I have yet to find one (Never looked)

As for dysphoria, that's the illness arising in a manner directly attributable to a person who is transgender of some sort being unhappy with the way they are/how they are treated/abused/neglected/stigmatised etc.
I don't think there is an established biological cause for it yet, but I'd be inclined to say it's again to do with the hormones exposure during the pregnancy. A male foetus is overexposed to oestrogen = a male foetus with a 'female' brain/mind or some sort of mismatch.

It's not a random appearance though >.>

Isn't pokemon one of the more trans-friendly games? Not even considering how androgynous the male protagonists are, the game gives both genders identical experiences. It straight up asks you to choose your PC's gender too.

The point is the question itself. "Are you a boy, or are you a girl?" This can be considered triggering for those with (extremely) weak constitutions, because it's kind of a loaded question--it assumes that you know for sure if you're a boy or a girl.

I wouldn't say that's the reason many are transhumanist at all. That's not been my understanding of it at least. To achieve it you'd have to remove free will which would be hypothetically possible down the line, but the ethics of it would be arguable at the very least. Not to mention it'd require an amount of force.

Naive outlook for those that think that way anyways.
