Pretty much, I used to waste my breath on creationists but there is no helping people who will outright deny science when it's infront of their eyes.

I'll hold no prejudice against creationists (but not new earth) up until they say "muh Cambrian explosion disproves Darwin." You see, then they just lose any credibility to talk about scientific matters in my eyes.

What if I believe BOTH creationism and microevolution? Macroevolution is something I'm hesitant to actually believe. After all, evolution is a theory and theories are not 100% fact

Evolution, as a theory, is one of those theories where you have to formally hold out for possible contenders but you know there won't be any. Evolution is as established as gravity or the Earth rotating as opposed to heliocentricity.

Natural selection is the only part of it which isn't as established.

Hence why I made the distinction of micro and macro evolution. Micro evolution is evident everyday (such as adaptation). Macroevolution is on the scale of hundreds to thousands of years and there's no possible way to monitor it unless if there's a group of scientists dedicating to passing down research over these long periods of time till it's proven

Gravity and the Earth rotating are different than macroevolution. It's comparable to microevolution because you can jump and land back on the Earth, that's gravity. An astronaut can watch the Earth rotate and prove Earth indeed does rotate

Because it's just an over-the-top assumption that because this is view able in a short period of time then it's obviously going to be on a larger scale over time. It's a lot like statistical data and just making an assumption of future events; it's a prediction but doesn't mean it will be as is/said, things can change

I completely disagree, why deny a person because of one belief they hold? all that does is breed ignorance inside you. I say you should talk as much as possible to people with conflicting views, it'll give you a new perspective on those views.

The fact of the matter is that you aren't going to learn anything and grow wiser if you only talk to like minded people, you'll just be sitting in a pit of ignorance towards the perspective of an outsider.

People did a lot of computation, then simply added the years of Adam's descendants together to find a date. Plus they used Adam's years lived as well. I don't know if that is totally reliable. Throughout all the translations, could numbers have been changed as well? Probably.

Now the Bible says:
"And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died."

Sure, it says "all the days Adam lived". BUT before the Fall, there was no death.

Now it comes down to interpretation:
So are these simply the years Adam lived after The Fall? If so, we don't know how many years Adam lived in The Garden of Eden, which means we can't simply "add up" the age of the Earth.

So how old is the Earth according to the Bible? I really don't know.
But it also doesn't matter. Because here and now is what is important.

I lead a youth group at my church for high school freshmen guys. A few weeks a ago they expressed the idea that they think dinosaurs aren't real, then discussed how evolution and the big bang are false. Wouldn't listen to a religious argument in favor of them, and are now basically under the impression that I'm a bad Christian and don't believe the Bible for recognizing scientific truth.

It's a discussion worth having. Nobody started off believing these things, and they had to be taught. If you think people are somehow below being taught, then I don't think you're being a productive member of society in this situation, and maybe ought to take some time to reflect on your own ego.
