I dunno, she's been getting on him a LOT now about interrupting, and she's allowed Pence to give brief counters to Kaine's accusations on nearly each topic. I think it seems she's favoring Kaine because she can't do much besides tell Kaine to stop interrupting in a stern voice.

I like Pence a lot more than Kaine, but it's pretty obvious that he has to work around his responses so that he isn't contradicting Trump. I almost wish he could have been VP for a different candidate.

Touting their partner on the ticket (the real reason)? Kaine.

Kaine's interruptions and general habits through this have not impressed me, whereas Pence has generally been able to express decent positions on the topics he's been asked, as well as acting generally respectable. But it's a near impossibility for him to defend Trump's statements and accusations, and at times its pretty obvious that he's avoiding situations where he has to.
