No one worried about NATO and Russia?

Not much news coverage about it. But Putin has warned the West recently of war. They've deployed nuclear launch pads or w/e along the border. And they've mobilized troops. Which could be a cover for them to catch NATO off guard. Can't link any articles at the moment. But if you google it, it's there. People always worry about World War 3. But this seems more serious and not exaggerated.

Putin knows he can't take on all of NATO. The UN would also condemn all of what Russia does.

A couple of high-ranking British military officers have said war with Russia by 2017 is actually a possibility.

That said, Russia has been doing shit like flying warplanes in British airspace, conducting wargames, engaged in mass mobilisation of troops etc. for a few years now. Is this an escalation? Sure, but Putin is a grade-A sabre rattler.

Wouldn't surprise me if he tried to pull the same kind of shit he did with Ukraine against a couple of other Baltic states, though.

It would take 27 days to get ammunition from Western Europe to Eastern Europe, and a recent RAND study confirms that NATO is currently not in a good position to defend certain countries adequately from Russian aggression. Putin is striking out because he knows he can.

And I know it's becoming chic and cool to point out that NATO ain't all that, but to brand it as NATO's fault--when we're discussing a country which covertly occupies foreign territory, uses barrel bombs in Syria and kills political opposition--is fucking laughable.
