My mom has terminal breast cancer

This won't be long winded.

I found out this morning. We aren't sure how much longer she has yet. I just need any advice from anyone who's gone through something like this before. I'm on the edge man, my mom and I are so close... I just don't know how to handle this.

I'm so sorry to hear that dude.. I lost a friend to cancer, although I didn't know her well, she was a great person with a great attitude throughout her time. I don't know what to say, keep your head up. I hope you're well in the future

For about a year my dad was having chest pains and we had no idea why, after several heart-attack symptoms he was diagnosed with diabetes (he was obese, drank, and smoked a lot). After about a few months he had another attack of low blood sugar, his blood was almost like water. Turned out it wasn't diabetes, it was late-stage colorectal cancer, he died two hours after I was told about it.

RC, there is no planning for it. You can't prepare for an immediate death like that. My heart goes out to you, I wouldn't wish what happened to me on my worst enemy, let alone someone like you. I'm sorry this has happened to you and her.

Fuck man, more death this year. I've seen so much already. This isn't something you prepare for in all honesty, but you need to spend as much time with your mother as possible and create fond lasting memories.

You have my deepest sympathy, for real.

My condolences dude, I can relate to your situation but for me it was an auntie whereas for you a mother so it's a completely different league of pain, all I can recommend is that you spend as much time with her as possible and seek comfort with your close family and friends, please don't go through this alone.
