Everything Russia is doing right now is to show that it has balls.  And every other major world government is trying their best to be "outraged" while not getting involved.

That said, I'd lift sanctions on Russia in order to ease tensions.  Sanctions end up hurting civilians the most, anyway.

Because doing anything to relax restrictions or lift embargoes on Cuba makes you unamerican according to a certain segment of the US population.
