In a month I reckon the main bastions will have been brought down and then it'll just take a few weeks to run around and capture the villages that are controlled by minimal rebel population.

It depends if Putin cuts ties with them, which wouldn't be too surprising after they made him look like an utter pillock by shooting down that passenger jet.

He's in a bind over that whole thing, he's either powerless to control the rebels or he's indirectly behind it. He can't win and I think the rebels are going to be left out to dry soon.
