too bad that's a load of horse shit and they still teach math the way they always did.the only thing they've changed is what kind of math they teach in each grade.
They've done away with times tables at the three middle schools my brother attended.

I'm not even sure you can teach creativity.
Nowhere in the common core materials does it outline HOW to teach a subject, only what subjects are covered at what grade levels. Any teachers pulling that shit are doing it on their own.

I'm still not a fan of Common Core; it's touted as the opposite of "no child left behind" while essentially being the same thing. All they've done is swap out learning milestones; and we won't even know if that had any effect for a few years.
