Tangentially on topic cuz breast cancer is a woman's issue... you guys know I'm a staunch atheist, but my mom is extremely sick and her outlook isn't too great, so if anyone wants to pray for her, that'd be cool. I never thought I'd pray, but I have been recently, just in case.

I'm really sorry to hear that, man. I don't know anything about your mom's case, but my wife used to be an oncology nurse and she says families usually feel that the outlook is worse than it actually is. I hope she recovers.

I don't understand why everyone gets so butthurt that there are these commemorative days/weeks/months. You aren't made to do anything to celebrate them. It doesn't cost you anything.
