We didn't even leave a single military base in Iraq after the war and we're surprised the place erupted back into war. Really stupid decision by the president to pull everything out.

Why is it stupid? We shouldn't even be out there, and I'm not wanting my cousins to go forth and die in a fucking desert over millennia-long disputes.

I don't care which party the president belongs to.

It only matters that they take a hardline on Iran, support Israel and are willing to properly fight ISIS.

I figured you would have a lot more to say about this topic.

Foreign policy tends to be the most controversial thing about a president's tenure. I sort of just scoot to the sidelines.

I'm generally quite interventionist, though.

I never quite understood most of the complaints about Obama's foreign policy:
1) Bush's invasion of Iraq was one of the catalysts for the formation of ISIS.
2) What exactly did the Obama administration do wrong in handling Benghazi? Before you answer, take note of these facts. Secondly, what about the various embassy attacks that occurred during any other presidency?
3) This is more of a nitpick, because the point still stands otherwise: NSA spying started under Bush, but I don't see any mention of that.
