My dislike for Mrs. Clinton aside, this is pretty ridiculous. I completely understand that the phrase "Black lives matter" has legitimate significance in today's society and that it doesn't at all mean that only black lives matter, but it was a pretty innocent and (*gasp*) politically correct way of tiptoeing around a hot issue (remember: she's infamous for never answering questions or stating her platform).

A portion of her speech:

"Years later when I was old enough to understand I asked her, 'what kept you going?' Her answer was very simple: kindness along the way from someone she believed mattered. All lives matter". (Emphasis added but she was said this very pointedly)

This speech was given at a church near the location of the Ferguson riots, and it is a black church not unlike the church that was the site of the recent act of domestic terrorism rooted in racism.

So here we have the primary Democratic candidate, the party that makes an art out of pandering to minorities to win votes, saying that every life matters while addressing a black congregation in a speech largely targeted around the feelings stirred up by Dylann Roof's killing spree, and that's not even good enough. Sorry folks, there's no way to win. If the dems can't kiss ass to a vulnerable black, lower class demographic, then nobody can.

Dang it boot you know what I mean. It's a build up thing, black people have been treated like shit since we got off the boat. The only reason a lot of these cops are caught is because of witnesses filming or reporting the stuff. We can't really tally all the black people who have been killed by cops or racists, but I think we can agree it's more than 11.

The truth is, we like to overemphasize and bombard the TV stations with this ridiculous amount of coverage over ultimately small events. We build up these martyrs, whose deaths were caused by fucked up individuals, and whose entire purpose is just to separate us more. It might sound insensitive, but the way to end racism isn't focusing on the differences, it's focusing on the similarities. Any relatively intelligent person knows that racism is a disgusting thing, and people who are actually racists are almost universally hated outside of their own ignorant communities. If we keep pushing these negative stories and and this white vs black struggle on the news every night, it will only divide us more. The saying All Lives Matter is much, much better than Black Lives Matter, I really have to say. We're all one race - the fucking human race - and the more we focus on this shit, the more we forget that.

She gonna win anyway, unless the Repubs do something stupid. Jeb has the best chance of winning i feel. Actually the best chance in reforming his parties standings and moving them more to the progressive side. Not sure of the other candidates.

He better be ready to fuck over every crazy repub promise he makes in the primaries to win the presidential.

Barring a Dem fucking up, they can't. They'll get trounced again. They need to shed the old guard and modernize, but that's not exactly in their nature. They're on the verge of losing Texas the rate things are currently going.

Well i feel Jeb Bush may have some hope. Honestly the taste of another Bush in office may come of bad for kany but he can do it.

The glasses and his persona is quite different to his brother while at the same time his marriage to a latino and his ability to speak their language gives him the ability to help slowly pivot the party. And bring the latino vote under them. Remember latinos are conservatives. The only reason they support dems is because of the repub xenophobic policies. Jeb could do it.

Also i just feel like the timing for him to join is quite deliberate. Not too early, when the memories are fresh and not too late for another repub to take the spotlight.
