The DNC will not be replacing Clinton, at least not yet. Any discussions and meetings held on the issue would likely be a contingency plan in the event that her pneumonia worsen - unlikely, but possible. Until then, the DNC will likely be working on a way to get this story out of the press and refocus on issues around the Trump campaign.

I also question the validity of Schuster's source on the issue, as no other journalist or media outlet has been able to corroborate the story at all - they all refer back to his single tweet.

You get diagnosed with pneumonia and then hold a fundraiser and then the next day go to an apartment with 2 young children......doesn't seem likely

You do realise people with pneumonia can live perfectly normal lifestyles right? It's not a completely debilitating disease and it isn't really contagious.

I've actually already considered this, and I've talked with friends about it.

There is a good chance that Obama could declare a state of national crisis, which would postpone changes in office until the crisis subsides. From there he'll just pull a Palpatine.
