Pretty much. Whoever wins Aleppo wins the rest of Syria. It has the highest concentration of soldiers for both the regime and its foes that's why it's crucial the US can do its part to make sure the jihadis don't win.

I don't like Johnson, but it's a sad reality when the mainstream media only covers third party candidates when they make mistakes.

Yeah but Aleppo? At the very least he should be able to recognize that as one of the most important cities in the entire Syrian conflict, and do some six degrees of separation work to link it to whatever prepared platform statements he has.
