It depends entirely on the nature of the content (ignoring the fact that 30pc to 80pc is a huge margin). It's not difficult to imagine that the most antisocial and psychopathic paedophiles access legitimate pornography, but there's nothing to suggest viewers of merely nudity or, especially, lolicon are dangerous.

And then, of course, there's the two Dutch sexologists I've mentioned before who believe that virtual child "porn" could help assuage paedophilic urges.

All of that besides, it shouldn't be treated as a criminal matter in the first place.

As someone with minimal education on data gathering I can say those studies are heavily flawed in that their sampling is limited to only those who've been arrested. Hell the very first words in the link you provided are "Experts differ over any causal link between child pornography and child sexual abuse."

I'm not arguing in favor of it mind you, just enjoy pointing out how wrong you are considering how noone on this forum posts or openly supports CP and none of that has anything to do with the perfectly SFW pictures of animated children you've been targeting.

You keep your discussion of CP in this thread, and I personally won't mention it outside of it. You can rant about lolis all you want in here with people who will listen and discuss it seriously but if you are willing to keep it in here then so am I.

Is this supposed to be a refutation? This does not prove any kind of causal link between child pornography and child molestation, like at all. Literally, like the the first sentence already establishes that it's a controversial and widely debated issue amongst experts. Stop trying to construct a false narrative.
