That was the one they singled out. They said the tarp made it look worse, along with security issues, and that it was actually the largest ever.
I don't see why he has to reduce himself to petty lies anymore, he won.
He should stop stroking himself and get to work. Replace ACA, with a better one. Let's see that southern border tightened up. Though you don't need to go as far as a wall. I want to see him "eradicate ISIS from the face of this earth". Very interested to see how things go.

I more so meant Trump can never just admit he's wrong ever and will somehow blame the media.

Nothing Spicer said in his tiny tirade had any basis in facts based on live images or DC Metro figures. The only thing he had accurate was that the white tarp is much more visible. It's gaslighting at it's worst, and Spicer is shit at even doing that.
Even Trump should realize most of his support was from the Mid-West and other areas nowhere near DC. The New England area hates him, of course he was going to have a smaller audience. Obama got a huge crowd because DC was surrounded in areas that voted for him.

Whether or not you believe his explanation is another story. That's like a teacher yelling at an entire class because one student plagiarized an essay. It lends nothing to your credibility as someone who is meant to bridge the gap between administrative figures and those you work with in the press
An issue with that though is the US, along with Nato/EU, has helped maintain the global peace, and when you have countries like Russia looking to tear both of those apart, and Trump say "these countries can do what they want", then it's pretty bad.Especially since Russia is bully/invasion happy, and China is building islands all across the ocean. But I guess the status quo is never good for people. The ironic thing is, this all came to be after WW2. And just as the last of the WW2 vets are dying, we're all seeing a change and losing sight of the stability all of this stuff set up has brought us.Also, the US military doesn't really meddle in those countries with bases. They're there for if we have to put more people around with our allies. Our special ops do the meddling, but really, the US military is just one big huge deterrence. I do agree though that we shouldn't pump so much money in our military and SHOULD focus on things like infrastructure, which is something I am supportive of.
