Hitler should not have gone to war at all. Modern war requires a strong economy so you can support lots of engineers and mechanics to design and maintain new tanks and aircraft, and build up the necessary material reserves for a long campaign.

If you really want to take over all of Europe use some kind of deception, like try some kind of international banking union, underpinned by a unified currency and monetary policy. From which naturally a unified fiscal policy would later follow, and then to full on federalism. The de-facto leader of this union would be the European country with the strongest economy, of course, and that would almost certainly be Germany, especially if Britain tries to not get too involved.

But seriously, it would have been better if Hitler stopped at France and just bunkered up, and then focused all his offensives at Russia & North Africa. And of course, didn't fight in Winter.
